Weekend past . . .

Aston Villa VS Manchester United
Nemanja Vidic should have been sent off. He wasn’t! Is Philip Dowd in the employ of ManUre? Aston Villa crumbled and instead of pushing on to win the game from their one goal advantage gave their opponents too much respect. Wayne Rooney came on and punished them and Dimitar Berbatov tracked back and defended and ran after lost causes.
Manchester United retained the Carling Cup.
Man United 2 Aston Villa 1
2 1
Owen Milner
Rooney

Chelsea VS Manchester City

Wayne Bridge is a big baby. Carlos Tevez is a punk. Chelsea fans shouldn’t have booed Bridge. John Terry should not screw other player’s wives. JT should also re-learn the art of defending. Mikel Obi is crap. Ballack is nothing. Bad day at the office for all of Chelsea.
Chelsea 2 Manchester City 4
Lampard (2) Tevez (2)
Bellamy (2)

Stoke VS Arsenal

Ryan Shawcross is an angel. Blame Aaron Ramsey for being too fast. Blame Arsene Wenger for playing with small players. How can Wenger say the tackle is horrendous and unacceptable when he doesn’t know that Ryan Shawcross is the next player to be canonised. Tony Pulis is an arse.
Why can’t Arsenal defend against Rory Delap? How many passes does Arsenal need to score from? Cesc Fabregas is a brilliant player. Manuel Almunia is not.
Can Arsenal win the league? Don’t think so, but they are having a good go at it.
Stoke 1 Arsenal 3
Pugh Bendtner
Fabregas
Vermalen

Tottenham VS Everton

Everton can beat Chelsea and ManUre but not Tottenham. Why? The race for 4th place is exciting; changes after every game. Redknapp is not a 4th place team manager if he doesn’t believe his team should finish 4th. Modric is not world class. Yakubu is not even Mersey side class, how this fat boy still plays for a premiership side is baffling.
Tottenham is losing too many players to injuries, are they going to drop off?
Tottenham 2 Everton 1
Pavluchenko Yakubu
Modric

Liverpool VS Blackburn
Two teams who are as boring as watching paint dry. Sam Allardyce is clueless as a manager and his teams play accordingly. Clatter into opponents, kick the ball into the air and pray that it doesn’t fall to an opponent. Rafael Benitez needs to buy 15 players or lose the only two players he has. And is it a coincidence that the only managers who feud with the English managers are the foreign ones.
Count yourself lucky, you didn’t watch this game.
Liverpool 2 Blackburn 1
Gerrard Andrews
Torres

Sunderland Vs Fulham
Even the managers were bored stiff watching this one. This game works as well as valium. Sunderland hasn’t won since November. Nothing more.
Sunderland 0 Fulham 0

Bolton VS Wolves
Bolton are struggling, no news there. Wolves are struggling, no news there too. So why bother about this game
Bolton 1 Wolves 0
Knight

Burnley VS Portsmouth

Portsmouth will go down. Burnley might join them. I want to know who is to blame for the demise of Portsmouth? David James is Englands No 1 goalkeeper, ha ha ha.
Burnley 1 Portsmouth 2
Paterson Piquionne
Yebda

Birmingham VS Wigan
The 1-0 champions of the whole footballing world, Birmingham needed to get back to winning ways but this is a very ugly win. Wigan needs a miracle to stay in this league if they continue to play Titus Bramble and Mario Melchiot.
Birmingham 1 Wigan 0
Mcfadden

NEVILLE RACIST?

Sometime yesterday, while discussing the impending return of Phil Jagielka to the Everton squad, the Everton club captain, Phil “I am ugly but rich” Neville said that Jagielka was an old English defender who played through the pain barrier while the foreigners would crawl up in bed if they were afflicted by a broken nail.

Should I be claiming that Neville is either xenophobic or ignorant or that he is an arsehole to make such a claim and I hope all the foreigners in his team will ask him for an explanation for such arrant nonsense. Is it an issue of engaging your mouth while brain is in neutral?

It is the same nonsense you hear about diving, Englishmen don’t dive but the foreigners do. It has been repeated so many times and even by players that it is becoming a nuisance to hear. Wayne Rooney dives when necessary, Steven Gerrard tried the trick against Arsenal two weeks ago and that is just two international that might be doing it again at the world cup.

When will a foreign player call out their team mates on this nonsense? If you look at the Everton team, if the so-called foreign players are not as committed to the cause, they won’t be playing as hard as they do now. Saha, Fellaini, Arteta, Yobo, Yakubu, Heitinga and co should ask Neville for an explanation for his asinine remarks.
